Terms of Service
1 Definitions
"NeatR", "we", "our" means NeatR: Garage Spaces. "Client", "you", "your" means the person or entity ordering services. "Services" means our garage clear‑out, cleaning, and light organisation services and any agreed add‑ons. "Job" means a scheduled visit to the service address. "Add‑ons" include, for example, shelving/overhead racks, deep cleaning, or extra van loads.
2 Services & Scope
We provide fixed‑price clear‑outs of residential garages, including sorting (Keep/Donate/Sell/Discard), responsible disposal of agreed items, sweep clean, and light organisation.
We do not handle hazardous waste (including asbestos, chemicals, oils, paint, fuel, gas bottles), biological risks, or items prohibited by law.
Heavy or specialist works (e.g., structural changes, electrical work, large furniture moves) are excluded unless expressly agreed in writing.
Where add‑ons are agreed, the scope and price will be stated in your quote or booking confirmation.
3 Quotes & Pricing
Single Garage fixed fee: £499. Double Garage fixed fee: £799. Prices include labour for the agreed scope and standard disposal of household waste up to the capacity included in your quote.
Add‑ons and excess waste (extra van loads) are priced separately and confirmed with you before proceeding.
All prices are shown in GBP. If VAT becomes applicable, it will be identified in the quote or invoice.
4 Booking, Deposits & Payment
A Job is confirmed when we issue written confirmation. We may request a deposit to secure a date; any deposit paid is credited against the final invoice.
Unless otherwise stated, the balance is payable on completion of the Job by card, bank transfer, or cash.
If payment is not received on completion, we reserve the right to pause further work and charge reasonable costs of recovery.
5 Rescheduling & Cancellation
Rescheduling with at least 48 hours' notice: no fee. We will offer the next available dates.
Cancellation with at least 48 hours' notice: any deposit is refundable. Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice: deposit is forfeited.
No‑show or access failure on the day: deposit forfeited and a £125 call‑out fee may apply.
We may postpone a Job for safety or operational reasons (e.g., severe weather, staff illness). We will offer the next available dates.
6 Access, Parking & Safety
You must ensure safe access to the garage and provide clear instructions regarding restricted areas and items not to be moved or disposed of.
Parking, permits, ULEZ/congestion charges, and access arrangements are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed. Such costs may be recharged at cost.
If the working area is unsafe (e.g., structural issues, vermin, contamination) or access is materially restricted, we may refuse or stop work.
7 Waste Handling & Disposal
You confirm you have authority to dispose of items listed for removal. Items become waste only when you authorise disposal.
We will segregate and transfer waste to licensed facilities. Waste Transfer Notes will be issued where legally required.
We encourage re‑use/donation where feasible. We do not guarantee resale value or timescales for items you choose to sell.
8 Photos, Media & Reviews
We may take before/after photos for quality assurance and record‑keeping. With your consent, anonymised images may be used for marketing.
You can withdraw consent at any time for future use. This does not affect lawfully used images prior to withdrawal.
9 Client Responsibilities
Be present (or appoint a representative 18+) to provide instructions and approve decisions about disposal and placement.
Identify fragile, high‑value, or non‑movable items before work begins. We are not responsible for pre‑existing damage or defects.
Advise us of any known hazards (e.g., sharps, chemicals, rodents). Provide electricity and lighting where possible.
10 Limitations & Exclusions
We are not a deep‑cleaning or remediation service; our clean is a sweep and wipe consistent with a clear‑out. Specialist cleaning or pest control is excluded.
We do not assemble large furniture unless agreed. Small organisational items may be assembled at our discretion within the booked time.
Advice we give about keeping, donating, or selling items is guidance only; final decisions are yours. We do not provide valuations.
11 Time on Site
Our standard working window is weekdays between 09:00–17:30. Start time and duration are set out in your booking confirmation.
Breaks taken by our crew for health and safety are included in our fixed pricing and will not reduce service quality.
12 Delays & Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, strikes, accidents, illness, or utility failures.
If a Job cannot be completed due to such events, we will reschedule as soon as reasonably possible.
13 Insurance
We maintain Public Liability insurance. You should maintain adequate insurance for your premises and contents.
14 Liability
We will take reasonable care while on site. Our total aggregate liability for loss or damage (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with a Job is limited to the total price paid for that Job, except for liability that cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence).
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity. We are not responsible for deterioration arising from pre‑existing conditions (e.g., damp) or inherent defects.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
15 Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice available on our website. Contact hello@neatr.space for requests.
16 Complaints
Raise any concerns as soon as possible by email to hello@neatr.space with your Job ID and details. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
